Is wearing a mask mandatory?

Wearing the mask is mandatory during the whole show due to the health measures against Covid-19. More information on this page.

 

When shall we arrive for the stroll?

The stroll is accessible betweeen 7pm and midnight, and the last entry is at 11pm. It is an immersive course, which will take you around 45 minutes to complete.

Between 7pm and 9:30pm, come and enjoy the beautiful view on the city and the mountains in the distance. Between 9:30pm and midnight, you will enjoy an illuminated castle in the dark of night.

 

Can we seat during the visit?

It is an immersive stroll throughout the castle and on its ramparts.

 

Can we pay with vacation coupons?

Vacation coupons are not allowed for the payment.

 

What are the necessary conditions to get a reduced rate ticket?

For whom is the group price?

The group price is available for groups of at least 6 people. It is only available online; we do not offer the group price on site.

 

What are the prices and conditions for people with reduced mobility?

Discount is available for the people with reduced mobility and their escort.

However, due to the amount of stairs, the course is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.

 

Is the course accessible to people in wheelchairs?

Unfortunately, the stroll is not accessible to people in wheelchairs as it would be impossible for them to make their way through the many stairs.

 

Should we book online or on site?

We recommend that you book your tickets online in advance.

An on-site box office is open every day in the City, with three different locations for a better flow management:

- from 2pm to 6:30pm under the stairs at the Tour Narbonnaise

- from 5:15pm to 10pm in the square near the Castle (tent)

- from 6:30pm to 11pm in the Tour du Tréseau

 

Should we book a ticket for children under 7?

Tickets are free for children under 7 but you still have to book a free ticket.

 

Can we book a ticket for the visit of the Château by day and come to the stroll with the same ticket?

There is no combined tickets for the visit by day and the immersive stroll in the evening.

 

Can the stroll be cancelled due to a wet weather?

The immersive stroll will be maintained, except in case of important storms. We invite you to take a look at our website the day of the representation to have latest information.

Tickets are neither exchangeable or refundable.

 

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are not allowed inside the Château of the Counts of Carcassonne.

 

Are strollers allowed inside the castle?

Strollers are not allowed inside the castle, and we cannot store them neither.  

 

Can we bring a tripod to take pictures/to film?

Tripods are not allowed.

 

Can we come with a backpack?

Backpacks are allowed but will be searched at the entrance.

 

If there is no place available online the night I want to come, can I buy onsite?

Unfortunately, if there is no place available online, it means we are sold out for the night. Please, select another night.
